Jamie got her start in shooting when she began with BB gun program at age eight. In return, she now helps coach a BB gun team. A high school student and member of the National Honor Society, she also plays varsity soccer, basketball, and softball. She currently attends the University of Alaska Fairbanks and shoots on its nationally-renowned rifle team.

Jamie Beyerle entered the 2007 season as No. 6 on the international charts in women's three-position and ninth in women's air. She is currently leading the ranks for the USA, and is pushing hard in each competition to earn points towards her Olympic Team selection on the national and international circuit.
